Kristen is a Footwear Color Designer and Developer residing just outside the great city of Boston. Originally from Florida, she received her BS from Florida State University in Textiles and Consumer Sciences and an AA in Fashion Design from the Art Institutes of Fort Lauderdale. She took her first job out of school with a footwear company and never looked back.

Kristen has spent 10+ years is the footwear industry - in roles ranging from Children’s and Women’s Footwear Design, to Color Design, and Color Development. Throughout her career, her main driver has been color; creating seasonal color palettes and stories, designing trend boards and presentations, building shoes with beautiful, on-trend materials and executing color standards across multiple styles and materials in Color Development.

Creating and executing meaningful color stories is what keeps Kristen reaching to learn more about color and the effects it has on the market, consumer emotions and behaviors and ultimately what drives sales and brand loyalty.
